• Fully furnished accommodation with heating/lighting and essential household and domestic equipment.
• Clothing, Travel and Subsistence paid on authorisation from Local Authority
• Project workers services (1-1) of up to the number of allocated hours per week
• Monthly written reports to the Social Worker
• Attendance at statutory reviews or other planning meeting when required.

Any additional expenditure incurred by Krossroads employees will have been discussed and agreed, and will be invoiced to the Local Authority

Any wilful damage to the accommodation, furniture and fittings, by the young person, will be reported to the responsible Local Authority. Krossroads would expect the Local Authority to reimburse the costs involved in repairs, refurbishment and replacement.

Length/Term of Placement

The minimum length of contract at the Krossroads project is 6 months. Further extensions can be negotiated. See details in the Krossroads Mission Statement

Cancellation of placement by the Local Authority

Normal period of cancellation will be one calendar month before the agreed term.

Should the Local Authority decide to withdraw the young person at short notice, then one months agreed rate will be payable by the above named Local Authority, following the young person’s departure date from the accommodation.

Termination of Placement by Krossroads

Termination of the placement depends on the severity of the actions of the placement, and will be discussed with the Local Authority where a joint decision will be made.

Agreed Payment Periods

The Local Authority will agree to pay Krossroads within 30 days upon receipt of invoices.

The Standard Package will apply or, an individual package will apply. All referrals will include a setting-up cost (one-off) of £250.00 or £400.00 depending on the size of the package.
